MIDI WEEK 3

MIDI WEEK 3
PIANO ROLL
The piano roll is the home of any MIDI notes you have in your project. This is where you can either play your notes in using musical typing on a computer keyboard or a external MIDI controller. It is also possible to draw in your notes by using the pencil tool, this can be extremely useful for people who are not skilled with playing notes or chords to a complex level. On the piano roll, a notes vertical positional indicates the pitch of it while the horizontal position indicated how long the note is and where it starts playing

TOOLS
There are many tools you can use to edit and customise your MIDI. You have primary tool which can be accessed by clicking the mouse while on the piano roll. There is also a secondary which can be accessed at the same time as the primary tool by holding the command key while clicking the mouse.
